YAHOO ~~~ HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Gotcha … It is HALLOWEEN!

A night of spooky, darkness, eerie and a perfect night to turn ourselves into as wacky as possible!

Wacky Pontinak Creamy wishing everyone Happy Halloween!
Do I look scary? My colleagues said I look more like Ju-On here ...

There were endless funs & laughers last night, definitely a night to remember! The wacky team of Promenade Hotel turn into "Pontianaks" in this annual ghost event themed "Spirits of the Rainforest", treating “Spirits” of the Press, Airlines and Tourism NGOs.

Wacky Pontianaks welcoming guests at the registration table

4 Pontianaks was trying to capture this innocent Pak Cik Bosi!

That's the way we scare people ...

*ROARING*

The night kicked off with a short sketch by the S&M team. The sketch started with PP, the pregnant lady walking in the jungle with her husband Pak Cik Bosi. The stoty went on when PP suddenly fall down & gave birth to a baby that all Pontianaks were hunting for. Pontianak Joannah snatched the baby away & the sketch continued with the Pontianak dance.

Exciting games were played to liven up the Spooky Jungle’s atmosphere, such as:-

McBorneo Combo Meal – a relay eating game that follow the ‘Fear Factor’ way. Participants have to finish the plates of bitter gourd + live Butod + a huge glass of Bloody Mary. I have to agree that Charles from MAS was great, he ate the live Butod like eating chocolate ... I salute him. How can he put the yucky moving creature into his mouth?! Anyway, his team won the game!

All participants trying their best to finish everything on the table with the cheering from the floor

The Reincarnation of Monsopiad – a team of 3 participants creatively dress-up their team member to be the most funky legendary local head hunter – “Monsopiad”. Glad that all participants are sporting enough to turn themselves into that look.

Tapai Drinking Session – As usual, a competition on Tapai drinking. These people are great in drinking especially Eddie Anggat from New Sabah Times (first from right in the photo), he finished all 9 glasses of Tapai on the table less than 2 minutes. Also, the girls are as good as guys when it comes to Tapai drinking ...

The Magavau – A passing parcel game with a little local twist where participants walk round like doing the Magavau during Kaamatan.

The Amazing Search for Toyol's Eyes - Participants have to collect as many floating Toyol's eyes (Ping Pong balls in actual) as possible within 3 minutes using their mouth.

We completed the night with a group photo with the guests:-

See you next year!

More photos are uploaded at my Facebook. Take a look ...
