Chef Creamy can cook!

Celebrated the Winter Festival a week earlier with my family,
I couldn't believe myself cooking a 9-course meal for one huge family ... once again I've made it, it's a miracle!

Wishing everyone Happy Winter Festival in advanced!

冬至快乐!

Mid Autumn Festival

I love festivals! Festivals literally means gathering & celebration with families. We don't have a huge family, I don't need to crack my head cooking full course meal all the time, just enough for my small family here.

Simple yet heart-warming home-cooked from Creamy Kitchen!

Adrian's first traditional lantern experience,
he has more interest with the candles than the lantern!

Happy 3rd Birthday to my lovely darling boy!

Time flies! Adrian is a big toddler now! He finally love birthday & got really excited for cake cuttings.
Birthday celebration marathon for Adrian, from school in the morning and a small family gathering at home at night.

First round - morning session at Q-Dees Fortuna

Second round - afternoon session at day-care center Taska Ashee

Third & final round - family dinner at home

He had too much cakes this year, so we replaced it with our very own home-made "Liangpopo's egg tarts".
p/s: he loves egg tarts, that's why the grandma suggested to bake him our very own egg tart.

Home-cooked from Creamy's Kitchen & cute Pocoyo cookies ordered from a home-baker (Birdie)

To be true for You & Me

On this day last year, you & I were in our plain white costume, you uttered the marriage vow in one breathe in front of the imam and our family members, we signed the paper and exchanged our rings. You and I became husband & wife!

I can’t believe how fast this one year went by. We have our trials and struggles just like everybody else, but we have learnt to look past the imperfect parts and noticed the great parts, at the same time working on our imperfections. A year has passed and we are celebrating our first anniversary together with our son today. We’ve gone through various experiences together this year, though the process are pretty tough but it’s all good, I would describe those as sweet challenges.

you’re never a romantic or lovey-dovey kind of hubby that gives me lots of surprise everyday;

you never shower me with lots of gifts even on special occasions;

you do not simply say that 3 ‘magic words’ to make me happy all the time.

BUT

you surprise me unknowingly without showing off to others;

you showered me with lots of loves & jokes everyday, I love the way you have me in your mind every minute & second;

your occasionally cuddle warm my heart, it symbolizes all your love to me.

I know I’m somehow a demanding & fussy wife, I always do. Thanks for being there and bear with me all the time!

We had our advance celebration on Sunday. No candle light dinner, no surprise gifts, no sweet talks. It was just a sweet outing at One Borneo and followed up with a simple dinner, just the 3 of us...

Our anniversary is a time to look back at the good times and a time to look ahead to live our dreams together. I’m perfectly blessed when you came into my life, my life with you is never boring!

Dear, Happy Anniversary … more to come!

Sinful meal at New York New York

I was super sinful!

I'm a bit late on this, I believe a lot of you must have tried this GIANT burger in New York New York. Some might have stepped into the outlet but did not have the guts to order their Giant burger, simply because they know they not gonna have that 'ability' to complete such a sinful meal!

Last Sunday my family & I finally made our first visit to New York New York after several months of hesitations. And guess what ... dad ordered the Sinful Giant Chicken Burger!

I couldn't believe my eyes, for what I've seen while the waiter came to us with that big platter. They're using those big platter where most of the Chinese Restaurants in town use to serve a table for 10 pax. Yes ... a table for 10 pax and it was only 4 of us on that day!

Look at the difference between a normal-size burger with that horrible GIANT BURGER!

A close-up shot ...
I'm so curious how did they make such a big burger and yet the meat are still juicy & tender!

My dad was amazed with what he's eating!
Imagine ... he's holding just a quarter of the entire burger, it's equivalent to one normal-size burger.

And ... I really really really really really couldn't believe that ...

WE FINISHED EVERYTHING ON THE TABLE, INCLUDING 2 NORMAL-SIZE BURGERS!

Shit ... I'm gaining on weight!

Thanks to Stanley ... Love these photos so much!

Stanley took a few close up shots of us with his lovely Canon EOS450 the other night during our dinner at Ocean Restaurant ... they're fantastic! Isn't his camera brilliant? Yes ... the camera is brilliant, not him!

I just love these photos so much ... can you feel the happiness within us? These pictures could tell!

Especially this ... my Happy Dad & Mum!

Love them so much ...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my lovely Mummy!

Before it's too late ... I gotta blog about his before the clock strike 12.

Happy Birthday to You ...
Happy Birthday to You...
Happy Birthday to LiangMaMa...
Happy Birthday to You!

8.10.08 ... my pretty LiangMaMa's BIG day ... bought her a Yam Cream Cake from Deli Corner today. Yam Cake with Red Bean paste ... great creation from Chef Pritchard again, you gotta try it!

We had a simple family dinner at Ocean Restaurant last night with the rest of the family members at home. At the same time celebrating another pretty mum (Lani)'s birthday. It was a lovely dinner by Aunty Shirley who had actually put great effort in putting this dinner materialize. Thanks a lot! ^_^

Photo session:-

And after all the photo takings, while I was browsing my pics at home, I realized that dad & I didn't take a group picture with mum. I was just too careless ... holding the camera walking here & there, as if I'm on duty in the hotel.

Oh by the way, Stanley bought a brand new Canon EOS450. Super cool camera, he never stop snapping pictures, so am I, joining him with my small little Sony Cybershot. Anyway, below are the moments I caught from Cheryl's face. She's just too cute to cuddle!

Graduation day @ UMS on Sunday, 24 August 2008

I'm late in updating my blog again ... it’s been 3 days late! Anyway, once again, a BIG Congratulation to Kelly from the entire Tan family here in KK. Wishing you a super bright future in years come by.

Mum & I ordered a bunch of flower from Damai Florist on Saturday morning, we actually wanted the whole bunch of Sunflower (sunflower = bright future) but unfortunately they only left 2 stalks. I saw there were more, but someone else actually booked that 5 stalks of sunflower. How I wish I could bribe her by buying over the remaining 5 stalks with a higher price … *cunning smile* … Of course, we didn’t do so lar, we’re educated human being! lolz … Anyhow, take a look at the flower enclosed, we mixed the sunflower with various colours of Daisy, it turns out pretty outstanding. Hope Kelly likes it …

The sun was hot on Sunday morning, I wasn’t sure whether I could take it but I just walked under the sun, wandered outside the Chancellor Hall looking for Kelly & other family members, while I settled my mum at a cooler spot (under the tree) for her to rest. Thank god I didn’t ‘melt’ & faint down but I had a minor headache after that.

The Chancellor Hall where the actual ceremony took place

Everyone tried to paint smiles on their faces during the photo session although it’s very hot, especially Kelly with her long sleeve shirt + the bulky graduation robe. UMS should attempt to have the entire ceremony including all these photo shooting sessions with family & friends in a big hall or ballroom like how all other universities do. A tropical country like Malaysia definitely not fit for this kind of outdoor graduation. When Kelly was walking round the campus to take photos with her friends, I started to re-call my graduation day few years back, we were so happy walking round under a fully air-conditioned premise without the feeling of HOT. And suddenly the scene flashed back to UMS …. Oh my goshhh …. Can you imagine the heat that we encountered that day?

More photos …

Happy Fathers' Day!

If you guys did listen to the breakfast show of Hitz fm last Friday, you'll know this & I'm sure you'll be laughing like what I did. It was Friday the 13th, JJ & Rudy wanted everyone to call in & wish their father a Happy Fathers' Day in a very scary way (in a very scary voice tone), but it has to be sweet. It was so damn funny ... I was laughing alone in my car.

Anyway, I wished my dad in a simple & sweet way today, not scary at all!

Treated my dad & Uncle Jason Buffet Lunch at Langkah Syabas Beach Resort this morning. Around 20 to 30 minutes drive from KK town ... this is one of the most charming places that I've ever been in KK. It will not suit people looking for a glossy 5 star experience but it gives you the feeling of HOME. Their staffs are friendly & warm. While eating, you can see some lovely lambs wandering around the compound, the peaceful village feel is there. I really like this place, their food is lovely .. The last time I went there was my lovely birthday dinner with Zan 2 months ago, their lamb chops are great. However, the buffet line today wasn't as nice as what I've been expecting. Not much variety & most of the dishes are beefs, which my family & I do not take. Anyway, I love their roast lamb at the buffet line.

Rating: 7 out of 10 (5 for the great ambiance there + 2 for the food).

In all ... I guess the 2 fathers enjoyed it very much!

On a separate note, my parents & I visited 1 Borneo again last night. Decided to have our dinner at one of the F&B outlet there. After taking a little patronage at the concourse floor, we ended up in this Japanese Restaurant called ...

Another Japanese Restaurant to dine in ... the food are delicious!

My Unagi Miso Ramen

Mum's Gyoza Udon (Japanese Dumplings)

Tori Asparagus (Chicken wrapz with Asparagus)

Rating: 8 out of 10. Give it a try!

Happy Mothers' Day!

"You make me cry make me smile Make me feel the love is true
谢谢你的关顾 与及无偿的爱护
年月漫漫 多艰苦 你也永远优先担心我喜恶

唯恐我并未得到 最贴身保护
Oh I love you"

Last year, I sang this song & MMS it to mum, she posted it on Multiply to show off. This year, no more singing ... I bought her a set of SK-II skin care -- The Secret to Crystal Clear Skin anti-aging range. Hope she likes it ...

My forever pretty Liangmama needs to be moisturized ... lolz! This set of gift consists of one Signs Treatment Totality + Signs Eye Cream + 7 pieces of Signs Eye Mask (FOC).

I bought mum & Aunty Janet a Dim Sum breakfast at Shang Palace this morning. Alex & Carmen, you guys should thanks me for taking care of your mum on Mothers' Day! =p Anyway, they've just sent me SMS a moment ago, to thanks me.

I've been a good girl this year. Celebrating Mothers' Day for my cousin's mum while they aren't around. I helped Vanessa to buy a cake for her mum while she couldn't be here on this special day. I'm glad to put big smiles on all mummies' face, glad to see them happy especially to my lovely mum. Wish she's happy all the time ...

My special message to mum: -

Mum, we've gone through ups & downs ... happiness & unhappiness ... All these, we made it! Things will be fine, nothing is impossible, everything could be solved. I'm your daughter, always your daughter. No matter where I go, who I've been attached with, I'm always your daughter, the one & only! Wishing you Happy Mother's Day & forever good health ... from the bottom of my heart! Love you always ...

M - O - T - H - E - R

"M" is for the Million things she gave me
"O" means Only that she's growing old
"T" is for the Tears she shed to save me
"H" is for her Heart of gold
"E" is for her Eyes with love-light shining in them
"R" means Right, and right she'll always be,

Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER" a word that means the world to me.

Dad's b'day = No Electricity

Please allow me to BOMB SESB! I hate them … Why always cut the power at our area? It was dad’s b’day last night while our house got power cut until midnight!

Anyway, we had a great dinner at Toscani Waterfront last night. I was supposed to buy dad a good treat as I can’t afford to buy him a Camry that he was asking for. But Azizan was fast enough to pay the bill before I did. I don’t even know when did he take action, was it when I was busy eating & talking? Anyway, thanks for the splendid meal, jokes and the great time we've shared. We were all blardy full after the wonderful meal! I couldn’t really remember what we ordered, a few dishes were strongly recommended by the Master Chef a.k.a the boss. I personally love the Baked potato with Cheese & Ham, not forgetting the Lamb Shank, it was really nice! The Italian Dumpling was a good one as well, and last but not least … the Tiger Prawn on sizzling plate, which was highly recommended by the Chef Ah Kit. Couldn’t really remember other side dishes that we had, but overall it was NICE!

Opss …. By the way, HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY to my beloved Daddy, you’re the greatest dad in the world, Love you!

Leisure Sunday @ Coffee Bean

Thanks to SESB, we spent our leisure Sunday at Coffee Bean Damai this entire afternoon.

Pursuant to the massive power blackout on 21 April, SESB is still continuing with their shitty works to restore the power supply to a 'normal level'. So, today we continue taking turns to suffer black out on this beautiful Sunday. Darn ... the power cut at 9:30am sharp while I was having my sweet sweet dream until 3:30pm. And ... I have no choice but to wake up as early as 9am and went for breakfasts with my family. We killed our time at Coffee Bean while waiting for the power to resume.

By the way, Coffee Bean has a new drink in their promotion list - Ice Blended Lychee, very nice!

We were too bored, taking this opportunity to test my photography skill, took lots of pictures around me.
Mum started to act cute when she saw me taking out my camera

Yvonne trying to give me a 'don't-give-a-damn' pose

She's drinking ... (who doesn't know)

Posing with mum with our colourful shirts

We're holding the glasses & trying to tell you ... 'We're drinking @ Coffee Bean =p

Pretty WenWen + Pretty mum

Our Nike shoes ... Just Do It! (we were too bored bahh...)

~smile~

I was trying to act a 'wondering' pose looking up the ceiling, just couldn't hold but I smiled!

and ... lastly, a gold fish face!

Yvonne suddenly transformed herself from a mature lady into a student and ready to go to the school for a singing competition (errr .... can she sing? I doubt)

Something to share on the Lighter Side:

  • It has been said that a pretty face is a passport. But it's not, it's a visa, and it runs out fast! (So, gals ... you MUST maintain your pretty face!)
  • Money isn't everything, but it ranks right up there with oxygen. (Strongly agree!)
  • You know you've reached adulthood when 90% of the time you spend in front of the computer is for real work. (Yes, I'm an adult ... )
