Kei Kei playing with her new Nai Ma

Had some good time with Daniel, Vanessa and Denise in Rumour's Bistro at KK Times Square. Vanessa came back for a short trip over the weekend to visit her parents, thought she would bring along her younger daughter (Mun Mun) but she only brought Kei Kei. She is adorable, especially love her hair, it looks so messy but cute! She can now slowly pick up single words like 'cannot', '不怕' and so on ...

Daniel: Kei Kei like a 弟弟 or 妹妹?
Kei Kei: 妹妹
Daniel: Then Kei Kei like a 妹妹 or 弟弟?
Kei Kei: 弟弟

lolz ... she will always pick the second choice!

A video of Kei Kei playing with her new Kai Ma --- Denise!

DJ Fine China a.k.a Jonathan Ngu

Blue Note was filled up by his 'fans' ... ops ... should be 'friends & families' on last Saturday night! I've not seen this crowd (see below) in Blue Note for a pretty long time ...

In fact, they've made the right decision to get the right person to create this crowd on a Saturday night, good strategy! I guess everybody came for him that night to welcome him home. He could be one of those so called talented Sabahan that we should be proud of. He was born in KK and based in Perth, Australia. At least, my Eggie friend (Denise) who doesn't like clubbing at all, purposely came for him on her precious Saturday night. Amazing huh ... Anyway, this fella does play some good musics.

Well, I don't basically crave for him. I was craving for drinks and a Big Night Out but unfortunately, it turned out the other way round. It wasn't the atmosphere nor the ambiance matter, it was all my colleagues who promised to turn up but they didn't! They just spoilt our night! I swear ... I would not date them for any outing anymore unless they are the one organizing it. I know PP was pretty upset & disappointed as well, I really thanks her for being there.

So, here's a photo of this cute guy, I don't get it why Denise likes him so much ... I'll leave it for you to comment ...
Honestly, he's not my type ...
I prefer a more mature look.

Anyhow, I've tried to enjoy myself with other friends that I've met. I'm glad that I've met quite some friends that night, which was one of my objective chilling out on a Saturday Night too. Managed to dance with Sandra (that was our first clubbing night); managed to meet Helen who was all this while being extravagantly praised by my dear that she's a very pretty girl; managed to hug an old friend of mine -- Tina; managed to have some good whisky; managed to build a little rapport with a few reporters from Daily Express; managed to say 'hi' to all the friends I met. That is good enough for a night out to me.

We've done a little club hopping that night from Blue Note ...

Lunch gathering @ Secret Recipe

From L to R: Wan, Mick, Nora, Me, Anita, Robert, Majeed & Geoffrey

A very Happy Birthday to Anita!

We just had a splendid lunch at Secret Recipe and I had the best Chicken Cordon Blu there. I want to learn how to make this dish ..... I really want to learn that! Anyone can provide a good recipe?

I think 'Barney the Old Man' would love it too! *wink*

My T.A.T.U date with Denise a.k.a. Potato Ball

I called Polar Bear who is celebrating his Raya in Sandakan ...

Panda: Tell you what, .T.A.T.U's food disappointed me tonight, not much variety and not nice at all!
Polar Bear: I told you!

Panda: Yeah ... should have listened to you

The food do not worth RM105++ per pax!

We were pretty disappointed tonight. They were so good before, never improve but getting worse. The food on the buffet line didn't generate much of my interest, just couldn't attract me. Anyway, I still have to thanks the "Potato Ball" for spending me this splendid meal, I'm so full, couldn't even fit in my favourite dessert.

I started my night with a plate of white sauce pasta. It wasn't really nice, too creamy I would say. By the way, can you believe that a 5-star resort's cafe is using such a normal glass to serve ice water (please see red arrow below)? PH is better than them (sorry Polar Bear but this is the fact) ...

The very dry & not-so-tender satay that we couldn't force ourselves to finish it!

This Sushi is nice ... with Mango filling.I had quite a lot of this =P

A bowl of Lamb Kuey Teow soup, the soup taste good

The only corner that really attracted me was the dessert bar! Very tempted dessert all around ...

Very eye-catching right? But I didn't have much appetite to eat these dessert tonight, didn't feel like having any sweet intake. After patrolling the dessert bar, I ended up with a bowl of ABC with Vanilla Ice Cream only... duh!
And ... You think I'm so excited with the ABC?
My Potato friend doesn't know how to take a photo with her brand new Nikon, just made me laugh!

Potato Ball's not-so-satisfied look after the meal

Sheau Ping's Wedding on 30 August 2008

Being one of her best colleague in PH last time, we (PP, Glorina, Fiona & I) took this chance to attend her wedding, both the morning church session & dinner at Rafflesia Ballroom, Promenade Hotel.

Wedding Solomnization in the church:

Sheau Ping & hubby including their families are very holy church members, they had their wedding solomnization in the Basel Christian Church at Penampang. Four monsters from PH attended her church ceremony, supported her as friends.

The entire ceremony was sweet & simple.

The wedding bells kicked off at 10 am sharp. Sheau Ping, led by her dad, stepping her way to her hubby. We saw tears were running down from her dad's cheek, that was a very touching moment. The ceremony started with Praise & worship, prayer, scripture reading and so on ....... it took about one and a half to end the entire ceremony.

Finally ... the lovely couple walked out of the church together with lots of blessings from the ground.

Their wedding cake with Ivan (PP's eldest son) as background

We could hardly catch Sheau Ping for a photo that day, this is the one & only photo we took during the high tea session

Dinner Session:

The lovely angel backdrop from our Artists @ Promenade Hotel ^_^

The dinner went on smoothly. Our table seems to get all the good food from kitchen that night, I guess they know MOD (Manager on Duty) is sitting on our table. lolz ... we got bigger & fatter fish, we got broccoli more than Cauli Flower, which other table doesn't get it.

Before we enter the ballroom

With the Purple Monster -- Denise!

We met San San & Tin Ray that night. Apparently, they are from the same church with Sheau Ping

Opss ... is that a Tshung Tsin's year 98 gathering? =P

Lastly, one for the album with the bride

Friday & Saturday Night Fever

This flyer would explain why we were all in white! ^_^

While I was searching for the right dress code for the night, I found out I have limited white attire in my wardrobe. And .. I have no choice, I do not want to wear the same outfit to the same place for the 2nd time in one month. There I chose to wear this ...
A fluffy vest that my mum bought for me from Bangkok 2 years ago. I've never wear it because it doesn't fit me when I was the big fat girl 2 years ago. There I go for the very first time to wear this lovely vest from my lovely mum.

We went to Blue Note 2 consecutive nights on Friday & Saturday. I can't remember when was the last time I chill out with Selina & Tina, it was 3 years ago while I just left Sagajuta. I miss these 2 girls so much ... and I miss those time that we worked together.

L~R: Tina + Creamy + Selina

That was a good night out with my old friends, we chat & drank like the old times, of course we couldn't stop ourselves from taking pictures like our good old times.

Tina looking up the ceiling ...

I always forget to bring my camera to snap pictures of this newly renovated Blue Note, I like this cozy place very much, here's some pictures for viewing pleasure.

Previously was a wide dance floor turned into a comfy bar at the corner, while Blue Notes' very own dancers were dancing on the bar table. This reminds me of China Jump at Singapore, where everyone can jump & dance on the bar.

Blue Note is bringing in talented DJs from KL to the local scene. Here's their DJ stand on the stage

Another dancer dancing besides the DJ stand while the DJ is hotting up the dance floor.

All this while, my dad has been nagging at me not to drink liquor with Coke but I never can accept the liquor taste with water only. Recently, Azizan & his friends been nagging at me on the same issue. Until the other day when we were drinking with my dad, again he nagged at me, I tried my best to accept it. It isn't that bad actually ... Now I can join the real drinker group & proudly announce that I've got myself upgraded. =p

Look ... my drink is so obvious among my friends.

After a few drinks, we continued to snap pictures as usual ...

Us again ...

Creamy with the lovely couple

The party went on the following night on Saturday, we don't have anymore white attire, that's why we turned ourselves into BLACK!
Selina said there must be a chapter 2 followed by Friday Night and this picture was taken.

Note: Special thanks to Selina for providing the above pictures.

Happy Birthday to Sweetie Nora

Happy Birthday to you …

Happy Birthday to you ..

Happy Birthday to Nora …

Happy Birthday to you!

We didn’t manage to sing her a b’day song at McD this afternoon, here’s one especially for you Nora!

Initially, we planned to eat at KFC but the b’day girl was bored with Chicken, she wants something else so we shifted to McD in the very last minute. It was another birthday cum MARCOM family gathering which we usually do on everyone’s birthday.

Farewell to Jason

So, finally Jason is leaving to Laos. He's leaving us for 3 years ... we won't be seeing him for a long time and one of my greatest 'clubbing kaki' gone.

Anyway, we had a great night with him just now. He looks very exciting, glad that he's happy. He went round the group to take individual picture with each one of us, it would be a good memory to all of us.

Best of luck Jason!
Nicholas being so disturb to join us at the middle

Bernice & I

Fiona, Eddie & I

I guess I was too excited, still awake now at 3:18am. Shit... I have to sleep... if not you guys will see a panda running around the town tomorrow.

Thanks for the dinner treat ...

a very BIG thanks to Denise @ Tai Jeh for the very sumptious advance birthday treat at Rumba last night. Sorry to Li Man and AJ for not able to invite both of you to join the dinner coz I'M NOT THE ONE WHO PAY THE BILL, please blame Denise. =p

Anyway, it was quite a nice dinner and who said Rumba serves Latin food? Or maybe these are Latin food I'm not sure ... take a look at what we eat:-

Seafood Platter which consists of Tiger Prawn, Squid, Scallop & Mussel. Lobster should be in the list but they ran out of Lobster and subtituted us with more portion of other seafood.

We were thinking of having French Fries, but we ended up in this Farmer Fries coz it sounds special. Anyway, it's just the normal Wedges lar ...

Thank you very much Denise... this is the earliest b'day treat from my best buddy of life. I shall treasure the friendship between us. Remember you still owe my mum something, my kitchen is still waiting for you to cook for us ... =p
