Adrian's Update

My little prince has grown up tremendously, never realize time passes to fast, he is already 16-week old today.

• he began to exhibit an obvious recognition of people at home, he can actually sort out who's who in his life. I can basically conclude him as a friendly baby and I think he inherited both our PR skills as he smiles at anyone who coo or talk to him, including strangers;
• he loves to make eye contact with me, he moves his arms and legs in excitement and even start gurgling & talking to me when I look back into his eyes;
• his hip & knee joints are becoming more flexible nowadays, his kicks are relatively getting stronger day-by-day;
  
• he started to discover his hands and very much fascinated with them. He loves to bring both hands together, inspecting them from all sides by opening & shutting his fingers, carefully watching each finger as it moves. Just about week ago, he started to put them in his mouth and suck his fingers like eating a yummy drumstick;
  
• he is now able to lift his head and hold it up for a longer time, he can even sit with support, hold & turn his head steadily;
• at last, his sleeping patterns started to settle down couple of weeks ago. He can now sleep for a 4-hour stretch through the night (sometimes even 6-hour when he's tired) and wakes for an occasional feeding every 3 to 4 hours;
• he loves to stare at his reflection in the mirror, when he realizes himself in the mirror, he'll show his delight with an adorable toothless grin;
• his gurgles are going strong this week, he is making all sorts of consonant sounds like "oooohhh ... ahhhh ... grrrrr ...", no particular meaning but we basically trying to make up some assumptions on our own. Just like the other day, he was looking into my eyes, gurgling to me at 12:3o midnight, as if he was trying to tell me a story, so cute!
  

This video was up in Facebook a couple of weeks ago, where Adrian was dancing together with the daddy. He loves Crazy Frog's "Jingle Bell" very much, I can even calm him from crying with this song.
