I saw my little tiger on the ultrasound today!
He was covering half of his face and pretend to fall asleep while the doctor place the ultrasound instrument on him, but later on started to move around, after I get up from the bed. Overall, I feel perfectly satisfied to see & feel his little head, hands, elbows, legs and even his heartbeat.
My weight has officially raised up to 69.2kg this week, which baby took up 1kg (I presume it's like a head of a broccoli?). Doctor were telling me that my weight will raise for another 6 to 7 kg by the end of the 9th month. I couldn't imagine how big & fat I'd be that time. Gotta start looking up for ways to slim down and I shall start the plan right after my confinement, wait no more!
Anyway, my little tiger is growing into 27th week. He's sleeping and waking at regular intervals, his little body moves across my belly every time he's awake as if telling me, "Mummy, I'm awake!" I love it at night before we get into the bed, he started to stretch and dance when I put on some musics for him. He does enjoy a few songs from the daddy's handphone by responding with a few kicks.
The second trimester is drawing to a close by this week, as my body gears up for the final lap, I started to feel some new symptoms. My leg muscles started to cramp up every now and then. I walk like a penguin now, it's beyond my control to adjust my walking posture now. My belly feels so tight sometimes, especially when I stretch my body and try to relax on the bed. Anyhow, thumbs up to the soft workout that I learnt last month, the 'bridging' exercise especially, it really helps in reducing backache. I hope my backache wouldn't go so badly as my belly grows bigger & heavier in my coming last trimester.
