My First Pregnancy

Though I have not done any official announcement for the past few months, but some of my close friends and relatives should have known about my first pregnancy already. I'm into my 4th months of pregnancy and thanks to all the blessings & wishes!

I haven’t updated this blog since last year. I will do my best to bring this blog up-to-date in coming days and hopefully not falling behind too much.

This week marks the beginning of my 4th months and there goes my morning sicknesses, no more vomiting after meals (so far, since last week). Perhaps I've roughly got an idea on what my baby likes & dislikes, trying to avoid food that would make me puke. However, I'm still disgusted with certain smells that really averse me:-
  • I dislike the cooking oil smell from the kitchen;
  • I dislike the detergent / softland smell on all my clean clothing and in my wardrobe;
  • I dislike the hand wash soup in our kitchen;
  • I dislike the cigarette smell from hubby's bad breathe;
  • I dislike hubby's hair gel;
  • I dislike my usual shampoo smell, and I have to switch a brand for the time being, the same goes to my bath gel;
  • I dislike my mum's lotion and she has to stop using it in front of me, pity her (thanks mum);
  • I dislike tasteless food such as steam fish, fried vege. Once again, million thanks to mum who scratch her head for the past 3 months, to find ways of cooking to improve my appetite.
At the same time, I succumb to my cravings. I tend to develop intense cravings for certain foods during my pregnancy. I particularly in love with Western cooking especially Italian food, I love Aglio Olio Pasta (pasta with garlic & olive oil only); I have great cravings on chicken (grilled or fried); And recently I go for anything with Chocolate, be it chocolate cake, chocolate bun, chocolate candies and even marshmallow with chocolate fillings. We couldn't find marshmallow with chocolate fillings, hubby got me a packet of plain marshmallow and a bottle of Hershey's chocolate syrup, it sounds like Chocolate Fondue right? Oh yes, I'm gonna try dipping the chocolate syrup with fruits tomorrow, enjoy my very own Chocolate Fondue at home!

A study by a university ever revealed that mum-to-be who ate a little chocolate everyday during their pregnancy had babies who smiled and laughed more often compared to those whose mums didn't. So, I have great excuse to indulge myself and give my baby a treat! ^_^

Ya, now I've switched to Loreal, the one you helped Ah Piak to buy from Sungei Wang one. But I'm using the oil control range, hope it helps
