I know all the books / magazines, nurses and doctors say, "sleep when the baby sleeps!" or at least, "sneak in a nap when you can!" but my head buzzes with guilt, my brain refuses to sleep every afternoon and that's why I'm here to blog.
Went for my 5th check-up yesterday ...
Me: Is that his hands?
Doctor: Yes! Can you guys count his fingers?
Me & Hubby: hmmm ... cannot!
Doctor: nehhh .... here. 1...2...3...4...5 (pointing his mouse over his little fingers)
Me & Hubby: Oh ya ... (and I feel so touched at that moment)
The little evil is growing swiftly & healthily in my uterus. When I look at him through the monitor, I realised life begins not at birth but in the mother's womb during pregnancy. Special care and attention is vital to the development of the baby. I'm living like a queen nowadays, my friends said I should enjoy this 9-months privilege as much as possible. Agreed!
My previous test has finally confirmed the little evil is a boy, a tiger boy. Hubby has been praying for a boy, he's so excited! I'm even more excited, started to think of a nice & unique name for him.
For the past, we've been talking about this DHA stuff are so influential in kids' brain development, my cousins and I love to tease each other for not able to have enough intake of DHA, that's why we are not smart! Little did I know that baby actually start gaining all these even when they're still in mummies' stomach. My gyne furnished me with one more type of capsule today, except Folic Acid, I'll have to take this capsule which contained DHA, EPA, AA and OA. I was kind of surprise that mother-to-be can actually gain all these vitamins from capsules, not necessary from the milk.
I just couldn't wait to see the little tiger!
