A journey round the world in 180 minutes

Another press gathering with Promenade Hotel on Friday, 4 April 2008.

This time members of the media and the tourism comrades were invited to experience a 180-minutes gastronomic journey to dine in Promenade's various outlets. We were cruising from China (oriental buffet spread at Dynasty Restaurant), Italy (a romantic candle light Italian Deluxe Set Dinner at Promenade Club Lounge), Australia (an Outback Australian BBQ Dinner at Promenade Garden Bistro Grills) and lastly to the last stop Caribbean where the infamous pirates dwell (Pirates Night at Le-Rendez Vous Wine, Cigar & Karaoke Bar).

This one-of-a-kind gathering food tasting party allowed our guests to enjoy the variety range of culinary in Promenade. We're at the same time doing a cross promotion for 4 F&B outlets on their ongoing promotions. One stone kills four birds ... ^_^

All cruisers were given passports to round the world with us. The first & second page of the passport consist of a brief introduction on our Voyage Crews i.e. our Sales & Marketing key personnels. Purpose is to maintain the good rapport with the media & tourism bodies and at the same time to keep them inform on our faces. I personally love this concept so much, the idea was originally from the 3 angels from MARCOM. *peace* I believe they would know us better by now.

First Destination
The cruise began from China -- Dynasty Restaurant's first-ever attempt at offering a buffet-style oriental cuisine. This is the time our chef enrich diners by introducing the all-in-one treasures here on every Friday.

Second Destination

We then cruised to Italy for the romantic Italian Dinner at 11th Floor Club Lounge. The menu basically go on rotation from Mondays to Saturdays contains a wide variety of Italian cuisine.

Will this romantic setting increase your appetite? I love their setting so much ....

Third Destination

Outdoor BBQ is here to stay! We had a good Grilled BBQ dinner at the alfresco-style Promenade Garden Bistro Grill, in conjunction with the Surf & Turf Promotion. Our exclusive chefs were doing the grill at the pool side...

Fourth Destination

Our last stop came to Caribbean and the party began here! All were entertained by our current 7-piece resident band. We stayed there 'till 11 something and I reached home at 12 midnight.
