Tell me, how would you resist from these on your office desk?! These were new recipes from our Pastry Chef, Chef Pritchard. While the EXCOs were doing the food testing at the Cafe, Anita got chef to sent up few pieces to my office. I just couldn't resist to eat all of them, coz they're on my desk. I couldn't concentrate on my work coz they're watching me at work, they're seducing me while I was trying hard to concentrate. I ate a few bites & pushed all of them to my colleagues. Now you guys know why people working in a hotel tend to grow fat easily, like us!
The flavours of these new creations from chef were fantastic. First, I tried the Yam with giant Red Beans, then Banana flavour. The list goes on to Mango Talk, which is the cake of the month at Deli Corner & Lobby Lounge this month. It was great, I love it. Last but not least ...

The taste were GREAT! The durian smell blends with cheese ... ahh ... both are my favourites! You can imagine how much I love this ... ^_^
Updates from my Nexus post dated Tuesday, 1 April 2008.
My Executive Chef called me yesterday. The conversation looks like this:-
Chef Stanley: Sylvia, did you go to Nexus last weekend?
Me: Yes, I did. Did you hear something?
Chef Stanley: Yes, actually what happened?
Me: Chef, their Dim Sum is terrible! By the way, who called you from Nexus?
Chef Stanley: hmmm ... their Dim Sum Chef called me & asked.
.... after my explaination on how bad their food is ...
Chef Stanley: ohhh ... then they're wrong also lar
Me: Yes, exactly! We're paying so much, we expect something good!
Chef Stanley: The chef is very upset, your letter got up to their GM. He's in trouble now!
Me: I don't mean to offend anyone here lar, but I think negative comments make improvements.
Chef Stanley: Correct!
I have yet to receive any reply from Nexus as at to-date. Wonder whether they will reply me or not.
It's ironic. I told one of my ex-uni mate that one of my job scope in PH here is to reply complaint letters, attempt to answer any critisisms from the guests .. and I hate doing that. And yet ... today, I'm the one sending a complaint to another hotel & expect a prompt reply from them like what we're doing here everyday. Well, let's see whether their MARCOM is functioning! lolz ...

yes deary is ironic and when you need to reply all the letters whether is pleasant or unpleasant ..well i know wht you mean..i like to feedback to other hotels as well, never got any feedback from them..so promenade is so far the best from that aspect..keep it up..seems like now is ur turn huh..heheh
Yes, non of the hotels so far reply my feedback. In conclusion, we're still the best and the promptest in replying customers' comments! ^_^
