Need a new look

I’m bored with my current hairstyle, but not much I can do with it. The last time I thought of giving my hair a new look, it was sometime before CNY, but the thought of having to cut my long straight hair caused hesitations. Furthermore, I was really busy just before the new year kicked in, didn’t even have time to do a simple treatment.

Now after a couple of months I still haven't given my hair a new style. I still remember I did a post on The Evolution of my hair style some time around last year just to see how much changes I had during the last 10 years. I used to be a trend follower when it comes to hairstyles, but now I would just cut it according to my desire, most important is it looks good on me.

Now, I have no idea what to do with my hair, maybe more layer cut to lighten my hair. I always love those Japanese trendy hairstyle, which looks messy yet pretty. Erm … something like this …

Or even like this …

I know myself very well, I wouldn’t look nice in messy hair, I would look very untidy in this kind of messy hair, especially after one whole day of hard work, I’ll look more like an alien.

A longer version of this would be nice huh …

This would look nice too …

But … to avoid having the trouble to curl my hair again, please forget about it, Creamy! No more curling! I still like my straight hair.

Bear in mind that when choosing your hairstyle, you'll have a much easier time if you choose a style that could let hair do what it wants. Meaning to say, do not choose a hairstyle that would drag your morning or even drag your time to meet your date in the very last minute. Give yourself a simple hair style that could ease everything & save time of course.

How to choose a hairstyle that suit you best?

First of all, be honest with yourself! In general you will want to stress on your best features and minimize your least favorite when choosing a hairstyle. For instance if you have larger forehead than you might want to have fringes in front to cover it, just like what I’m doing. ^_^

Look at your face shape! Hairstyles for rounder faces would normally be longer, possibly shoulder length, to minimize the width of your face. On the other hand a hairstyle for a longer faces could be shorter with fringe with hair flipped outward to give your face a wider appearance.

I still don't know when I'm gonna do my hair. My hair stylist (Alice) actually promised me a new hairstyle, she said should be nice on me. Shall look for her one of these days.
