I normally cut his nail when he fall into deep sleep on his "Lamborghini" (i.e. his rocker), the vibration of the rocker soothe him well, he doesn't wake up, no matter how I move him.

"Manicure"
"Enjoying ..."
Look ... he sleeps soundly even after the manicure & pedicure done ...
