Eventful Journey from PH to Kobusak!

Oh mann .... It took me 2 hours to reach home today! This might be normal in KL, but not KK! I bet all Sabahan seldom encounter this kind of massive jam on their way home from work.

It was really an eventful evening for me, left my office at 6pm sharp, together with PP & Li Man. You wouldn't believe this, our short journey from hotel basement to the timekeeper was awful. The entire staff cooling area was flooded, we have no choice but to walked over it with our high heals + stockings. The water was high enough to cover our legs, basically our legs were entirely soak in it. Oh gosh ... I feel so pathetic to my Hush Puppies.

Mostly everywhere in KK was so damn congested, because of the RAIN!

At 6:15pm, I was here, in front of Wawasan Plaza (still a very long way for me to get home).

It rained cats & dogs, everyone was suffering on the road, as much as possible, trying to reach home with minimum usage of petrol =P ... woooopsss ... I bet they're getting panic seeing their petrol meter running rapidly.

The road in front of Wawasan Plaza started to flood a little ... my little MyVi has gone through a little adventure with me .... phiewww ...

At 6:35pm, I was stuck at the flyover in front of KK Times Square ... cars are not moving at all. Called my parents and informed them I'll be a little late because of the heavy traffic. Yes, I told them 'a little bit late', god knows I reached home at 8pm!

It took me another half an hour to reach the Sutera Harbour traffic light and at 7:00pm, I was right in front of Grace Garden Condominium! This is the worst part ... all cars were stuck at the middle of the roundabout, non of us manage to move any further. I tried my best to squeeze & fight with other cars in order to go through all the barriers.

In between this time, friends were calling me, sending their regards & reporting some traffic movements. Polar Bear called me & told me not to go back by Lido road because it was flooded very badly. Managed to avoid that by using the highway.

At around 7:30pm, I finally reached the tunnel. Didn't manage to take any photo at this time, the sky has turned very dark, I have to be extra careful & super alert on the road as it still rained heavily.

I finally reached home at 7:55pm, 5 minutes to 8pm. Believe it or not, such a short distance took me 2 hours drive. Worst of all ... I was so desperate to go to the loo at that time, I wanted to pee so badly, how much I wished I'm a little boy that can pee at anywhere by the road side ... :(

Anyhow, I'm home safe & sound and sitting here blogging comfortably. Shall get my beauty sleep earlier ... Nitez to all!
