I'm back ...

It's good to be home. Every time when I was away from home, I miss my family + my bed + my room + my everything back at home.

Anyway, I had a good trip with him this time. Everything was fine, at least under control =p. He managed to make his signature dish (榴连pancake) for me, which I really love it. It was too tempted until I forgot to take a picture of it to show-off here. It's a mixture of cream with durian paste, wrapped by a super thin layer of dough. It is very nice ... the cream & durian paste blended equally & fully melted in my mouth. Durian is a much loved as well as a much hated fruit I should say. Why? Because you either hate it or love it. Some people (like my Aunty Betty) gets turn off by the smell even before she tasted it, whereas some just simply love it, that's me! I'm a durian lover & great fans of cream stuffs. So, can you imagine how much I love this dessert he made for me?

I should be off from blogging about food, but please bear with me, my entire trip is about eat eat eat! He brought me to eat all his favourite food around his area. The first day we touched down, we had the best Pan Mee at Cheras, it was nice. And people know me should know I love eating Pan Mee very much! On that very same night, we dropped by SS2 (甜心点心) for some 拉面 & special Dim Sum. One of his friend is working there and he got us some new & nice recipe to try on. Again ... I was blardy full before I go to bed that night.

On the next day morning, he brought me to the best Char Kuay Teow in town. I'm not a person who is so particular in food, I can be very satisfied for anything that is edible. I enjoyed the Char Kuay Teow very much that morning. At the same time, he enjoyed his favourite Curry Mee.

This is my first ever KL trip which doesn't involve much shopping but mainly aim for FOOD! Yes, you didn't get my wrong, I didn't go much shopping this time, only managed to shop a little while in Mid Valley & Pavilion. Thus, not much new clothes to replenish my wardrobe this time.

Finally ... I'm in Pavilion!

We went to Genting on Monday. It was rainy season, pretty cold up there, I forgot to bring my jacket, my long sleeve Esprit top & my very own shore actually saved me.

On the way to the casino

We must agree that both of us don't have the betting luck at all, we just spent a very short tour in the casino. Well, not much interest on gambling, we went for a midnite show instead.

Before we check-out

On our way back to KL, we dropped by The Chin Swee Caves Temple (清水岩庙) which is situated in the most scenic site of Genting Highlands. The renovation of the temple is spectacular, the atmosphere of the temple is grand & nice.

One of the many views of the temple ... the nicely decorated cave.

Posing with “八仙过海”

The spectacular mountain scenery just right behind me

Our very own self-snap pix

The Buddha statue stand high & tall behind the temple

Behind me is a nine-storey Pagoda decorated with many figurines of Buddha

My niece said these 3 pix are special. Again, there're our self-snap pix, which we couldn't focus properly. =p

Last but not least, the night before I left KL. We had our dinner at the revolving restaurant (situated at the 18th Floor of Federal Hotel).
And after the splendid dinner, he brought me to another place around Cheras (I can't recall the name of that place), just to try out the Cheesy Chicken Chop. He knows I love cheese, that's why he brought me there. And the Cheesy Chicken Chop was great!

As I said, my entire trip was about FOOD, I really ate a lot lately, obviously gaining some weight. Friends around me ... please remind me to stop eating whenever you dine out with me!
