My Stages of Life ...: Sales & Marketing Team year end “White & Red” X’mas Party!

It was a fun night, I believed everyone enjoyed the get-together moment, where we all shared the joy together. The organizing team comprising of PP, Jenny & myself who managed to delight the entire team with good food, fun games & exciting prizes. Additionally, the hilarious company of the S&M team made the night an evening to be remembered. Although the party was done in-house, everyone thought it would be pretty boring to see the same old people, eat the same old food, but surprisingly it was a good one. The theme of the night was “White & Red”, appreciated those of you who actually stick to the theme & dressed up in either white or red! Some of them said they were not inform. In fact, they didn’t read memo properly, who to blame? Anyhow, the party still continues without full white & red costume.

The room wasn’t fill up with X’mas setting, we took the effort to beautify the room with our own X’mas tree, with all our valentines’ pressie under the tree. To create a better ambiance … We did it!

The party kicked of with a short & concise welcome speech by the Emcee – that was me lar. Followed by a splendid dinner menu specially dedicated to the S&M team:-

Everyone craving for food …

Baked Macaroni with Cheese - I was craving for this, but it wasn’t as nice as the first time I had it during our Halloween Party. They didn’t maintain the quality … quite disappointed.

Fried Rice with Anchovies and Salted Fish - This is the BEST among the whole buffet line! Love it very much …

Garlic BBQ Chicken - Good recipe … the BBQ sauce is nice!

Prawn Mayonnaise - So so only … it was just normal to me.

Roast Lamb Legs with variety of sauce - I love to eat Lamb & this is very nice. The meat are tender enough, it tastes great especially with the mint sauce.

Baked Potato - I didn’t eat this … coz potato shouldn’t come with rice, that will spoil my diet plan! Anyway, it looks good.

Christmas Tiramisu Cake - I don’t think this is nice, but Jason complimented it. By the way, I miss the Tiramisu cake from Bread Story!

Christmas Log - Nothing special, just another Chocolate Cake.

Everyone was entertained with a short slide while eating. Special thanks to PP & Jason for making such a nice slide that comprises of various memorable photos taken from the past, which includes all our ex-colleagues as well, those photos brought my memory back to the cherishable moment with Ann, Denise & Johnny. I miss them so much …..

The party continued with fun games … I grabbed the opportunity to snap down pix while they were playing the “Newspaper Dance”.

The 3 gentlemen from S&M were forced to join this game. While Glorina, Bernice & Rosalind were the victims to partner with them. It was entertaining especially when Jason carried Glorina at the back as shown in the above photos.

Another highlight of the night was the prize presentation to the ‘Best Performing Team 2007’ to Travel Agent Sector.

All attendees were required to bring a Christmas gift to exchange with their Secret Christmas Valentine of the night. This is what I’ve got from my valentine PP:-

Everyone was so jealous that I’ve got 2 gifts from her, in fact there’s a story behind these gifts. Initially, she bought me the pink & white nail polish as written on my wish list. Yesterday afternoon, while we were doing our last minute shopping at Parkson, she saw me hugging this cute little hippopotamus in pink, she bought it without telling me it’s actually for me. And the best part is … I chose the gift box myself! Can you imagine how funny was it & how surprised was I when I unwrapped the gift? Anyway, thanks a lot PP … love you! Now you know I love pink, anything in PINK! lolz …
