On Leave

I know it gonna be chaotic next week (PH's week long Anniversary Celebration), I'm just afraid I can't take breaths from there, I took one day leave to rest at home tomorrow. Also to spend some time with my beloved mum. She feels boring with the maid alone at home everyday, she looks forward to weekend everyday ... and there my weekend come one day earlier this week. =)

There gonna be another round of Gotong Royong this Sunday, which I really HATE it! I just don't get it why do we have to take up Housekeeping's responsibility? Don't they know everyone has their own responsibilities? Don't they know there's a boundary in the workplace? If we were to clean the hotel compound for the irresponsible people here, should we leave all our paper works to them in the office & act innocent? Who would help us? Would they? It's so unfair to us ... I'll definitely voice up in my year end appraisal. Have told Anita that I'm not gonna join this time, I have a valid reason i.e. to take care of my mum. A warning letter for not joining the cleaning operation? Go ahead ... I don't give a damn! I have enough for them ...

Oh ... by the way, we had a press conference (Mooncake Food Tasting) today, as the Mid-Autumn Festival is upon us, again ... we're promoting our renowned Homemade Mooncakes in Promenade. This year, what's NEW on the list is the unique "Dynasty's Seven Treasures" (七星伴月), a perfect gift for families & friends! One of the reporter suggested us to take a pix with seven ladies & one man, to bring out the true meaning of 七星伴月. Finally, we got GM to become our 'star' & a few more waitress together with Anita, Nora & I to become a 'moon'. It was in fact funny ... promise to post the funny pix when the reporter send it to me. I can't wait to see the pix too.
