Methodist Kindergarten kids’ visit to Promenade

It’s another long overdue post here. This was last week’s event --- we had a fruitful educational tour with students from Methodist Kindergarten Kota Kinabalu. The group comprises of 4 teachers and 30 excited young children.

Fiona, Sheau Ping, Adrienne & I led the group in and around the hotel to brief them on the various services, facilities, rooms, restaurants and bars.

I brought them around the hotel including our lounge bar … of course I alerted them only adults are allowed to enter the disco *_^. They’re so talkative, their never-ending questions somehow annoyed me but they’re still cute! This again proves that all kids are inquisitive …

They got so excited when they visited the hotel rooms. They even jumped up to the bed & start ZZZ-ing ….. *so cute* Look at the arrow-pointed boy, he’s cute! He has a younger brother, one year difference. They look exactly the same! Their teachers told me he’s very naughty … well, normally naughty kids tend to be extra cute!

A group photo with the kids in our Junior Suite.

Light refreshments were served at the end of the tour at our Chinese restaurant. Some kid can really eat … they’re fantastic, there was this little boy who can eat one whole plate of fried mee hoon with sausage, cakes & 4 cups of milo. He really caught my attention!

Finally, a group photo with the bunch of naughty kids! Can you spot the 2 look-alike brothers?

We always encourage this kind of educational tour, I still remember last year we had one round of educational tour with Chung Hwa Kindergarten children in conjunction with our week-long anniversary celebration. This is one of the many ways for us to give back to the community by sharing the knowledge and experience with young minds on hotel environment. Who knows these children might get interested and pursue a career in the hotel industry when they grow up, then they shall boost up the tourism industry! ^_^
