Week Long B-Day Celebration

Thursday, 26th April 2007

My birthday celebration started off with a lunch gathering with my colleagues. In conjunction with the Secretarial Week, Anita treated us lunch at Garden Bistro. The service was quite bad, now I know why they can’t generate revenue every month.

I fly to KL on my actual b-day. Arrived in the LCCT around 5 something in the evening & took us 2 hours to reach KL (checked-in The Coronade Hotel). I hate the feeling being stuck in the traffic jam!

That night, we went down to Starhill basement, dad bought me a dinner. We walked round all the outlets and finally ended up in an Indiana Restaurant, their atmosphere has very strong cow boy feel, which is very nice.

I’m a super big fans of Lamb! Regardless my diet plan, I just can’t resist to get myself a splendid birthday dinner. Without second thought, I ordered this Grilled Lamb Shoulder.

Dad & Hou got themselves the Lamb Rib, which benefited me as well, coz I had a chance to try out different part / taste of the Lamb Chop.

Mum doesn’t like to eat Lamb, she ordered Grilled Chicken instead.

Fatty Lamb joined in our dinner later & he had Spaghetti … looks very nice!

It’s me after a splendid dinner -- Satisfied Look!

I’ll never miss any chance to snap nice photo. We saw this very nice wall between Starhill & Marriot Hotel, it’s actually a subway between them. The twinkle lights change colour every few second. I managed to snap a few pose with different background.

Again, my parents threw me a party. I would prefer to call it as another family gathering in KL, that sounds better. Anyhow, the dinner was a bit costly, which I think it’s not worth. Felt a bit shock with the way they served and the way they ended up the entire dinner. Nevertheless, I like this 黄瓜烫.

The only photo taken with Prince Edward & Princess Agnes.

Basically spent the whole day in The Curve, met Vanessa, Daniel & Yang Pei for lunch. Roamed around IKEA after lunch, WE BOUGHT A LOT FROM IKEA AGAIN! However, the side table that I wanted to buy still out of stock. =(

Eye on Malaysia

Thanks to Fatty Lamb who offered to bring us there. Eye On Malaysia, the largest portable wheel in the world, and being the first overhanging the Titiwangsa Lake. This wheel consists of 42 fully air-conditioned gondolas, which have the capacity to carry eight passengers per ride (3 full rounds per ride). In conjunction with Malaysia’s 50th Year of nationhood & Visit Malaysia Year 2007, this Eye on Malaysia is built in the bustling city, bringing a new perspective to Malaysia.

On the way to the spectacular wheel ... 回眸一笑 ^_^

Finally we reached here. Sadly to say, I was nearly ‘melted’ (tired) that time, didn’t take much nice photos.

In the gondola, it was very high … don’t dare to look down~~~

With my lovely mummy …

Up to a giddy height of 60 metres, this is the view from the highest point. Look at the people, like ants.

At last, I have one full day to shop. This time I choose not to publish what I’ve bought. Instead, I chose to upload all my b’day gifts (will do that in a later part). Let me show you guys what I had for dinner in Petaling Street.

It’s 烧肉面 … it’s so delicious. Hmmm …… Dad didn’t join us for dinner that night, I even MMS him this photo to ‘seduce’ him, but get no reply from him. I guess he’s jealous! Also, we had the Claypot 老鼠粉 at the same shop, which is very fantastic!

I never expect I can have such a long post this time … but well, hang on … it’s turn to show off all my b-day gifts.

Besides the earliest gift from Denise, which I’ve blogged earlier on, this is the second earliest b-day gift from my cousin sisters (TVB + CFT). They bought me a lipstick + an eye shadow stick + 2 bottles of nail polish from The Face Shop.

Jeanie bought me a Coach coin pouch, love it! How she know I need a coin pouch? She can read my mind … I was looking for a nice one for a long time already. Now, I’m happy with the Coach coin pouch and my new Coach wallet. Oh ya … and the Ang Pow is from Aunty Betty. Thanks a lot!

Eliane got me Rosewater bath & shower gel from Crabtree & Evelyn. It has a pleasant smell, cool!

Hou bought me a pair of jeans & T-shirt. I chose that myself ^_^ Love it!

From my 3 lovely cousin sisters Kelly, Karen & Carmen -- Body Shop shower set! That’s so sweet …

A butterfly pendant from lovely cousin Michelle & Carol. Butterfly brings good fortune (福气) in Feng Shui saying. Eventually, both of them bring me good fortune & luck! Besides, thanks for the Ang Pow from Aunty Irene

My portrait on the little t-shirt from Fatty Lamb & Wilfred.

Last but not least, Ben sent me a belated b-day cake last night. He baked that himself, with his Nona Brands ingredients. I was so touch, a busy person like him actually took the effort to bake a cake for me. How proud am I? According to him, the cake has no name yet, it looks a little bit like Tiramisu but it’s not. It tastes like Mocha or Chocolate, a little bit of Coffee smell with loads of cream cheese as decoration, which taste sooooo good! Since this cake is specially dedicated to me, I’ll name it as ‘Creamy Fluffy’!

In addition, I'd like to thank Aunty Janet for reloading RM50 talk time to me, which in turns I get an additional of RM25 b-day bonus. Please also allow me to thank my lovely parents for the BIG Ang Pow which means a lot to me. A week before my b-day, dad was asking what I want for my b-day this year. Without second thought, I told him I want CASH. What a materialistic girl ... but hey, I'm just being realistic, which is normal. Rather than they buy me something that I don't need it at all, CASH is the best present to me. Thanks Dad Mum ... love you!

Lastly, thanks for all the warm sms wishes from my friends & relatives.

So, here ends my holiday + week long celebration. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY TO ME!
