“X’mas with the Sesame Street Gang” at Promenade last Sunday

It was the Yearly Kiddies X'mas Party of Promenade Hotel last Sunday. Everyone especially the kids had a fantastic X’mas party with our Sesame Street Gang! This year our theme is Sesame Street, children were divided into 5 different teams – Sesame Street characters with individual colour themes namely Zoe (Yellow), Cookie Monster (Blue), Oscar the grouch (Green), Elmo (Red) and The Count (Purple).

Anita & I were the Emcee for that day, kids were yelling & running around the ballroom, hardly get their attention. Though, we still manage to lead them to shout out their slogan. That was fun!

All of us played joyfully with the cheerful kids, competing in various Sesame Street related games such as Word Puzzle, Jump with The Count, Cookies Relay, Big Bird Dance and many more.

One of the funniest games is chicken-dancing with our Ms. Big Bird. I really pity Denise Webber for wearing that big bird costume, it makes her itchy & hot. But she still cheerful even she’s not feeling comfortable in that big bird costume.

The champion of the day was the Cookies Monster team which was lead by our Sales & Marketing Department! Hoooray ... thumbs up to the team!

What’s Christmas without Santa and Santarina!!! Another exciting part of the day was when kids were running after the Santa and Santarina. Initially, they were told to sit there quietly as "Good Boys and Girls" so that Santa & Santarina would appear. Situation turned lively when Santa and Santarina were “flown” in a beautifully decorated santa sleigh.

The party concluded with the apprearance of Santa & Santarina. All the kids walked home happily with loads of presents, candies & cookies.

The party is over ... and all of us were exhausted!
