It’s never too late for couch potatoes to start exercising and cut their risk of heart disease …
This is what I read from the newspaper today. It’s another green light for me to start exercising. My mum has been nagging at me all this while, and I seriously think that I really need some exercise. I used to do yoga, and … now I’m thinking of swimming, even jogging will do. Neither does it have to be strenuous activity, even just walking can make a difference. But … I do walk a lot, everyday … in the office, that’s why I’m so tired after work, and my body starts to resist from any exercise, not even hanging out with friends. All I need is just a bed! I enjoy lying on the sofa watching VCD, just lie there with my pillows, without doing anything. That’s my precious moment of the day … and YES! I’m a typical Coach Potato!
Researchers found that people who exercised throughout their lives had the lowest risk of the illness, which is one of the biggest killers. Hmm … I think I really have to do something! Doctors also advise me to swim more because of my backbone problem, which is a never ending problem for me!
