Drunken Lion wishes u Happy CNY~!

I have a lot to blog, but my mind is stucked at this moment. I just came back from yam cha with Paw & Denise. Paw will be going back to UK, we won't be seeing each other for at least a year I supposed, or maybe longer than that, who knows.

I was in Aunty Shirley's hse just now, she invited lion dance to her hse. This lion dance team is unique, they don't play the traditional lion dance, they do the 'Drunken Lion' dance.

Firstly, they prepared 38 tins of beer, nicely set on the floor as below:




The lion began as usual, when they came to the beer, they squad down & started to drink the beer, the way they drink & pretend to be a drunken lion is very cute.


They continued to drink & finish all the beer on the floor. The show lasted for one hour, it's interesting. It attracted everyone to actually pay attention to the entire show.

CNY is significant to me. It is the time of the year where everyone gets together for a meal, to recap on old times and to usher in the new. Also, this is the time I can meet up with friends which I don't normally see them, these friends only come back once a year. Most people enjoy this occasion with lots and lots of gambling sessions. Afterall, what is CNY without loud noises and the exchange of money? But for me, I don't gamble, because I don't get the skill & knowledge in gambling, I'm a dummy in gambling. No matter how many times people teaches me, I still can't get it. Well, that could be an advantage to me ^_^...

I'm very happy ... I met up with Selina on the 2nd day of CNY. Just the 2 of us, in Coffee Bean, we get the chance to talk & talk & talk a lot without any third parties present. Coffee Bean was packed with many people, mostly are youngsters having some gathering.

Oh my god ... my bf still in Aunty Shirley's hse winning money ... lolz ... it's 2am already, wonder if he still coming to my hse or going back to his own hse. I think I really need to rest ...
